The specific format underpinning each event will be presented to attendees
during the Introduction kick-starting the event. Here, Kamran will
explain how the event has been structured and will elaborate on
a detailed briefing document sent to each attendee prior to the
event, which outlines the vision, event format and guiding rules
of operation driving the event. Kamran's personal profile (see
Kamran A. Beg's Personal Profile) is provided herewith for your
kind reference.
An example of one such briefing document is provided below. Here, it
has been assumed that an event starts at 1pm and ends at 6pm. The same
structure applies to all events.
BRIEFING DOCUMENT
FORMAT OF THE PROFESSIONAL SINGLES EVENT
VISION INSPIRING THE EVENT
The Professional Singles Event has been inspired by, and structured
according to, a matrimonial framework designed to optimise your chances
of meeting and conversing with like-minded, potentially, matrimonial
candidates.
EVENT FORMAT
12 noon – Attendees arrive, sign in, receive a form for recording
the names of attendees that they may wish to engage in further dialogue
with after the event, and are then respectfully escorted to the Banqueting
Hall. Refreshments are served.
1pm - Kamran A. Beg, who will chair
and preside over the event, will deliver an Introduction, which
will, amongst other things, include an elaborate explanation of
the event’s format and the specific guiding rules of operation.
Refreshments will continue until 1.30pm. Attendees will be encouraged
to relax, engage in constructive dialogue, and derive maximum benefit
from the event.
The event is divided into two stages:
Stage 1: Collective Dialogues (1.30pm-4.30pm).
Stage 2: One-to-one Dialogues (4.30pm-5.45pm).
1.30pm - Attendees are assigned to
their ‘first table’. Each table will seat eight members:
four males and four females, with the males seated opposite the
females. This structure will apply for each of the ensuing rotations.
Attendees should proceed with dialogue by initially introducing
themselves to everyone at the table. This usually provides a positive
stimulus for further conversation, ‘breaks the ice’,
and allows attendees to flow into a conversation more easily with
their fellow table members. This pattern should be repeated at
each of the subsequent table sittings.
2pm - The three-course buffet consisting
of a starter, main course and dessert will be available from 2pm
and will be left in the Banqueting Hall for attendees’ consumption
till 5.30pm. Attendees may therefore consume the food at their
own pace and convenience.
2.30pm – Male attendees are
now asked to rotate to a ‘second table’, with each
set of females remaining seated at their initially designated table
throughout the course of the event. In this way, each ‘rotating’ set
of male attendees will meet a new set of female attendees at each
rotation and vice versa.
2.50pm - Male attendees are now asked to rotate to a ‘third
table’.
3.10pm - Male attendees are now asked to rotate to a ‘fourth
table’.
3.30pm - Male attendees are now asked to rotate to a ‘fifth
table’.
3.50pm - Male attendees are now asked to rotate to a ‘sixth
table’.
4.10pm - Male attendees are now asked to rotate to a ‘seventh
table’. This will complete Stage 1 (Collective Dialogues) of
the event.
4.30pm – Stage 2 (One-to-one Dialogues) will commence at 4.30pm.
Attendees are now allowed to move freely between tables and to engage
in dialogue with any of their fellow attendees.
5.30pm – The buffet will be taken away. Refreshments will still
be available. Discussions among attendees will continue. Stage 2
(One-to-one Dialogues) will end at 5.45pm.
5.45pm – Kamran will give a
closing statement, including encouraging attendees to fill out
the attendee feedback form (which will be e-mailed to attendees
post-event), and return it after the event. Kamran will also ask
attendees to contact him, or one of his associates, with a view
to eliciting the contact details of particular attendees that they
may wish to renew dialogue with post-event, though such contact
details can only be obtained strictly subject to specific rules
of operation explained in Guiding Rules of Operation (see below).
The event will now end and will formally be brought to a close
at 6pm.
GUIDING
RULES OF OPERATION
Should any female approach Kamran, or one of his associates,
and request the contact details of a specific male or males those
contact details will be provided unconditionally at or after the
event. The male attendee(s) in question would be identified by
their name-tag. Alternatively, a female attendee could obtain such
contact details directly from the male attendee(s) in question
during the event itself.
Should any male approach Kamran, or one of his associates, and
request the contact details of a specific female or females those
contact details will be provided conditionally at or after the
event, once the female(s) in question has/have given Kamran, or
one of his associates, their consent to do so. The female attendee(s)
in question would be identified by their name-tag. Alternatively,
a male attendee could obtain such contact details directly from
the female attendee(s) in question during the event itself should
the female(s) in question agree to give her/their contact details
to him.
Note, post-event, attendees will be able to approach Kamran,
or one of his associates, to enquire about the possibility of obtaining
the contact details of specific attendees.
In the case of females enquiring after the event about the contact
details of specific males present at the event those details will
be provided unconditionally and without any further charge. This
after-event customer service is covered by the actual fee paid to
attend the event itself.
In the case of males enquiring after the event about specific
females, however, a very rigorous criterion will be applied in
that Kamran,
or any of his associates, will not release such contact details
unless they have contacted the female in question, indicated
the enquiring
male to her, and obtained the female’s consent. If consent
is not provided contact details regarding that female will not
be released to the enquiring male, though the female in question
could
request the contact details of the enquiring male from Kamran,
or one of his associates, and contact him (the enquiring male)
at her
discretion. Again, this after-event customer service is covered
by the actual fee paid to attend the event itself.
Should attendees have any questions in the lead up
to the event, during the event, or following it, please kindly feel
free to call
Kamran A. Beg, Consultant, on 07980 001426 (if calling from within
the UK) or +44 7980 001426 (if calling from outside the UK) or
alternatively call 07876 042660 (if calling from within the UK) or
+44 7876 042660
(if calling from outside the UK), or e-mail him on kamran@kamranabegevents.com,
or speak to him, or any of his associates, in person on the afternoon
of the actual event itself. Attendees are encouraged to ask as
many questions as possible and to exercise their spirit of enquiry
to
the full.
Finally, attendees should additionally regard this event as an
ideal framework in which to network with fellow professionals from
the same faith. Such networking forums can only help to bridge
the vast reservoirs of knowledge, experience and potential that
the attendees
manifest in a professional sense. |
