I am a Leicester based Pharmacist Independent Prescriber; my speciality being Mental Health. I have spent most of my life either taking care of responsibilities or achieving various goals but not managed to find love. My friends tell me that I still have so much to offer and should not give up on searching for that person, hence I found the courage to join this service. I tend to have a balance between modern and Islamic values. After returning from my Hajj in 2002, I made a dua to Allah to help me keep my headscarf, which, Alhamdolillah, I do wear most of the time. I am a practising Sunni Muslim. I pray Salaah everyday, fast during Ramadan and don’t drink or smoke. I am a kind, caring, easy-going woman who likes to live life to the full. I love travelling and having different experiences. I have swum with dolphins in Florida, snorkelled in the coral reefs in Sharm, been inside an Egyptian pyramid, been on safari in South Africa, walked on a bridge over the Victoria Falls, jet-skied in Malaysa. I want to continue travelling, see India, Mexico…. I would describe myself as a compassionate person. I am a committee member of a local charity made up of people with a Healthcare background, and have participated in various events over past years. I raised money for Cancer Research UK for the past two years by running “Race for Life”. I am quite sporty, particularly enjoying swimming and Pilates. I get pleasure from entertaining, preparing nice meals for friends or family; Bar-B-Ques being quite popular. I also enjoy reading and movies, including Bollywood. I have been divorced for about 6 years. I have a sixteen year old daughter who agrees that I need to find a partner. She is busy with her AS level studies and a part-time job. We have an adorable cat, Simba. I lead a busy but contented life. However, I am missing a partner to share my life with and still waiting for Love which I never found. My ideal partner would be someone who “clicks” with me, a genuine, kind, caring and considerate man. If Allah permits, then, who knows, this web site might be where I will meet my Destiny.
